Greetings from Oman!!! We know you all must be thinking that we have disappeared :) we are still here...just a little lazy and catching up with other things. We just took a short break to Mauritius and here are some of the pics.
Mauritius is an island nation off the coast of the African continent in the southwest Indian Ocean, about 900 kilometres east of Madagascar.The island of Mauritius is renowned for having been the only known home of the dodo(bird). The dodo is now extinct. Of volcanic origin and generally sheltered by barriers of coral reefs forming natural, safe, crystal clear lagoons, Mauritius has long been a dream destination. Mauritius is surrounded by pristine white beaches and lush greenery in the central islands. Creole and French are the main languages in the everyday environment and several oriental languages are also spoken.
